Today, my 6 year-old daughter asked, "What would happen to me if you and daddy died?" I told her that she'd probably live with her Uncle Ant and Aunt Ilene. She looked at me and said, "You guys can die. I won't cry. I get everything I want over there." FML

#45 Some people have lives that aren't rosy and perfect. My girlfriend's mother is a huge bitch and I wish my girlfriend would disown her. Case in point: One Christmas we were at the mall (me, my gf and her mom) and my GFs mom asked what my GF wanted for Christmas. She said that she wanted books for school or money to buy books for school (very practical). Now at this point her mom says to her, "well I want a nordic flex, are you going to buy that for ME?!?!?" or the time when my GFs sister (who lives with us) was saying how she'd tell her mom that she was walking to a friend's house down the road and the cops would always get called and told that she (my GFs sister) was a runaway. Or how about the time when my GFs sister could not go to high school because her mom wouldn't drop her off on the way to school. Or when my GFs sister was put into a group home because her mom didn't want to be bothered taking care of her. Yeah all moms deserve respect. I think not. Carrying a baby for 9 months doesn't get you the "Best Mom in the World" T-shirt, it takes raising a kid to do that.

Hm, things like these make me really wish there was an option that says "Deal with it, that's just life" she's freaking 6. She doesn't fully understand death. I would say FML if she was like 18 or 20 and she understood.
