Today, I had a job interview. I had to drop my daughter off with my babysitter first. When I got to the interview, I got a weird look from the vice president of the company. I had lime green poop running down the side of my white blouse. FML

...lime green poop? Is she radioactive or something? Or does she just eat too many popsicles?

Lime green? What the hell are you feeding your kid?

There is NO way that you couldn't have known that it was there. And what does your daughter eat? Are you feeding her crayons or something?

#28 you sound like you did your homework in any case, like good moms should!

How in the world did you not feel/notice that at all? YDI for paying that little attention.

Did you even bother going through the interview? The lime green poop stripe cost you the job. Next!

Babies poo odd colors--trust me. I've seen kids eat Pebbles cereal (you know, the Flintstone's ceral) and come out with some REALLY acid trip poo. I'm sorry you day sucked-I understand how this could happen (diaper shiftage. Oh, it is so real) and the only suggestion I have is to look in a mirror, back up, and look again. :-)

If it's young enough to poop on you, why wasn't it wearing a diaper?

YDI for not checking/noticing something like that. I get that some women aren't overly concerned about what they look like, but you should be for a job interview.

37, diapers leak. Haven't you seen all those commercials about diapers and how such and such a brand has features to prevent a leak? That's because leaks happen. Diapers aren't magic. They fail sometimes, like every other manmade object.

If the VP has kids, he/she understands. If not, they'd be hard to work for - people who don't have children aren't as tolerant if you have to call off or leave early because your daughter gets sick. Bosses with children are easier to work for when you have kids since they've been there, done that.
