Surprise!

Today, I returned to work after taking two days off to find I'd been fired. Why? For not being at work on those two days. Everything was agreed in writing, all trace of which has mysteriously vanished. I can't work until HR sorts it out, and nobody can tell me how long that'll take. FML

Wow. No one could have seen that coming. Atleast HR is looking into it. Hope it gets sorted real soon. Good luck

This is why emailing these things is handy. Or at my work they have carbon copies so everyone gets the paperwork.

Well, unfortunately it sounds like you aren't really wanted there - usually you don't just get canned that easily without reason. SUCKS, sorry for ya, move on to bigger & better things now!!!

They deleted your work life, they would be coming for your personal life next, Mr. Bourne.

Guess you will have to make copies of time of notices from now on.

You can take them to court for unfair dismissal

That's why I'm happy my company will update the schedule even if the schedule already out .And they email me it so I have proof myself

Bitches were waiting for this opportunity!

I'd there was a problem your boss could have called you? That way you would have may e lost a couple of hours at max. Also, don't you get a copy of your agreed time off when you apply for it? When I request a day (or more) off I always get a signed copy from my boss. So I have proof too.
