Am I the only 16 year old who abides by the law?
I never drank, smoked or did other drugs as a teenager, and neither did most of my friends. You are not weird and you're certainly not missing out on anything except brain damage, embarrassment, regret, and getting caught and losing every privilege you've gained since age six. Wherever there's hype, there's somebody making a lot of money from it. That applies to all the hysteria about teen drug use and juvenile crime. I'd venture that most teenagers are generally law-abiding and sober.
holyshit, I read ''beating''
Alcohol is a drug.... So how in the world would you say "At least you're not doing drugs". And alcohol wouldn't be the drug I'd be worried about the least...
The problem with letting 14 year old girls go out to places is that their ability to make decisions is that of a 14 year old girl. Utterly hopeless. Maybe OP should enforce a curfew?
I'm sorry but all you could say to your 14-year-old about her drinking was "at least you are not doing drugs"??????
As a 17 year, I'm honestly speechless but not surprised. Kids do stupid things and its not entirely her fault. Maybe you need a better relationship with her. Kudos on atleast addressing the issue? I dunno. FYL and YDI.

I guess things could be worse?
When I was fourteen, I did some crazy things, but hey, I turned out fine. Right? Didn't I turn out fine?! TELL ME I'M PRETTY!
