Today, I was pulled over for speeding. After a few minutes of conversing, he told me he didn't need to give me a ticket. He then asked for a date. I politely declined. After staring at me for a very long moment, he said, "I think I'm going to have to give you that ticket after all." FML

If you deserved a ticket then you should have gotten one. However if you didnt and he was being a jerk because you didnt go out with him... Then fyl.

I don't believe that a cop just randomly asked you on a date, and if he did you have the right to turn him down so good for you to turn him down. He though also has the right to give you a ticket for speeding and you deserved the ticket, this isn't a FML at all, it is a shame that you were abused by the cop but YOU put yourself in this situation and since you did that, I have no problem, also to post #62 sexual harassment can fall into any catagory, and sadly with todays society asking a girl out can be called sexual harassment

well, this could go one of two ways. i don't know if you were really speeding, or if you were, how MUCH you were speeding. however, that was an incredibly asinine thing of the cop to do. it's sexual harrassment. either turn him over to a higher superior at the police station, or you can even take it to court and contest it, adding that he gave you the ticket because you wouldn't go on a date with him. sorry about this.

You were pulled over and deserve the ticket you got, BUT what the cop was offering was/is ILLEGAL! and should be reported for sexual harassment! And FYI all posters just conversing doesn't = flirting.

All girls flirt there way out of a ticket? Really? Last I checked I was a girl, but I've never felt quite that low. It's spineless. If you screw up you take your punishment. Or else you watch out so you dont screw up. Of the hundreds of girls I know, I can name TWO who probably would do that. Once of them is a bitch anyways and the other's a bit of a fool. MOST GIRLS have a little more self respect than that.

Apparently no one who commented on this knows the meaning of the phrases "Blackmail" or "sexual harassment." In fact, the cop made sure it wasn't sexual harassment by saying he wasn't giving her a ticket before he asked her. Why is everybody who posts here so ******* stupid?
