Ah, corrupt cops at their best.. nice. That really sucks... even if you report him it's unlikely that he'll get punished.
illegal
im glad that you didnt use a "date" with him to get out of getting a ticket. however you were speeding and you do deserve a ticket. well its okay, learn from it. dont speed
a) Not sexual harassment. I can ask any women in the world out on a date-respectfully of course-as long as I just drop it if she says no. b) Reporting it won't do shit. Its his word against yours. Anything you say can and will be denied by the cop in a court. The judge will most likely think your just some bitch trying to get off of a ticket by making up a story about how you were sexually harassed. If you had hard evidence, such as a tape recorder, maybe you could actually prove something. c) All of you people who call cops pigs are so full of shit its amazing your eyes don't turn brown. Cops don't get payed much and they risk their lives protecting you. Could any of you guys be more ungrateful? d) **** off feminazis.
eh thats something to bring to the cheif
The OP was *probably* flirting, but could have just been acting polite. I'm polite to strangers, especially cops, but I never flirt. That doesn't stop the occasional person from hitting on me, despite the wedding ring. My fam owned a restaurant in a small town, and all the cops were regulars. They were all nice guys in that context. But a cop's job is frikkin' dagerous, and every time they do their job some idiot can pull a gun and kill them. They're SUPPOSED to act authoritative and detatched when dealing with potential law-breakers; it's called self-preservation. That being said, the OP is kinda stuck. It's her word against his, and a lot of stupid people make up all kinds of crap to get out of a ticket. She probably can't get out of the ticket, but she should report it. If he has a history of these things, his superiors could take action. His actions were unprofessional, and I'd be scared to give a fake number or stand him up. Who knows if the jerk will go nuts and get her info from the DMV?

If you deserved a ticket then you should have gotten one. However if you didnt and he was being a jerk because you didnt go out with him... Then fyl.
The cop wasn't being nice to her, he was trying to manipulate her.
