What about an ambulance?!?!?!
get some new friends
There are special taxis for people who get hit by cars, and in the country you live in, they're totally free at point of service! They're called ambulances.
Note use of "in the country you live"... which is also the country where I live. They're free at point of service, paid for through taxes ultimately of course, but to dial 999 and get an ambulance to come collect you (along any subsequent hospital treatment) costs nothing on top of those taxes.
That's why this person said AT POINT OF SERVICE dumb *****.
How in the heck are accidents handled in the UK? In the US, if you got hit by a car, the police would come first, ambulance would come second, and you wouldn't pay a dime because the other guy's car insurance would have to pay for it.
Basically, you're meant to call 999 and get the police and paramedics there, they'll turn up at about the same time, a police officer will ride in the ambulance with you while another one will talk to the other driver if they're okay and don't need medical attention, corner the area off etc. The only thing that gets paid out is the insurance on the car from whoever's fault it was.
It's 9-1-1 not 9-9-9 dude
No, OP is from the UK, it's 999. Or alternatively, 0118 999 881 999 119 7253.
If I'm going to be totally honest, you kinda deserve it for not having the common sense to call 999 and get the police and paramedics on scene.
911 not 999
OP is in UK, so 999. Not everyone lives in North America.
In CANADA, emergency number is much cooler: 911 ;)

find better friends.
Get new "friends". Real friends would never do that to you!
Your friends suck as does the taxi driver for charging you
Keywords
they don't really sound like 'friends'
Great friends you have there
