Wow... What a bunch of unromantic bastards. IMO, the question is less about fishing for compliments and more about understanding her partner. I wouldn't mind answering that question, and I'm a guy. Though, I feel she may have asked this on an almost daily basis, which would probably be annoying. I definitely wouldn't react like he did.

I think he should be more supportive. I would think a bf would be more supportive of his gf when she wasn't feeling well. I havn't been in a relationship before but I would think part of the relationship would be to talk to each other, and about their problems.

Whenever you're feeling down in the future, you should try streaking, see if that will help you boost your confidence.

Okay, NO guy likes this question. It's annoying. It's like you're questioning if he loves you, which is self explanatory, so he get irritated because he feels like he shouldn't have to justify why he loves you. He just does, and you should be happy with that. Yeah, he could've been a little nicer, but really its a stupid annoying question, which really doesn't have a describable answer. I know if my boyfriend asked me why I loved him all I could really say is "I just do." And I'd still get annoyed at the question. Just be happy that he loves you. He doesn't need a reason, all that matters is that he does. And really, boys don't wanna hear about how bad your day has been or what your upset about, it just annoys them. So seek comfort somewhere else. Boys aren't the best at showing sympathy, but that doesn't make him an asshole if he doesn't. It's just plain annoying, needy, and immature. Except the fact that he loves you NO QUESTIONS ASKED. so it may have been upseting, especially after your bad day. but i have bad days all the time, and i just end up being a bitch to my boyfriend, then he comes whining to me. so don't be so needy, and maybe you'll see his sweet side, or maybe he'll ask you some stupid question and you'll see how fricken annoying it is and finally see why he acted the way he did. But in the end, you deserve it for asking a stupid, self explanatory question. Have a better day :)
