women are insane. i don't understand why they have to ask questions that are totally pointless and when you answer it truthfully you get your head bit off. yes i'm a woman and yes i realize that i sound insane. w/e.
Why do people expect to get a positive answer by asking questions like, "Do you love me?" or "Why do you love me?" Honestly, it annoys the SHIT out of me because it's like you're doubting if the other one really loves you. It also makes it sound like you're an attention *****. I have to agree with the boyfriend on this one. You'd probably be able to figure it out yourself.
Hmmm... that would probably annoy me too, because its almost guaranteed you've asked similar stupid questions before. If you would have prefaced the message with... I'm really depressed or I've had a really bad day can you please cheer me up then I'd probably feel bad for you if he answered the same. But either way... don't be so dependant
I ask the same question sometimes, but he always tells me and makes me smile. I do the same for him, and it's cute. Neither of us are needy; it's just nice to hear someone say sweet things to you now and then. So... find someone better, yeah? Dump that jerk! :)
YDI, you shouldn't ask someone to EVER validate you or why they love you. Stop being a whiny, needy, brat who needs someone else to "cheer them up". That also is not anyone else's job, nor should you go around asking people to cheer you up, If they care about you then they will cheer you up. I know, if ANYONE in my life actually has the nerve to say "cheer me up" to me, I won't do it as it comes across as them needing 100% attention and being an attention *****. I don't like people who seek attention!
who WOULDN'T be annoyed by a text like this?! It's so defensive, and you know that if you don't BS some answer right away they're gonna go psycho with things like "OMG YOU DONT LOVE ME?!!?! **** YOU ITS OVER!!1!!" BUT, the response she got wasn't the real FML, it was the fact that when she's feeling down she has to turn to *other people* to get rid of her own insecurities! She obviously has some self-esteem issues going on if this is the first response to feeling bad about herself. Fishing for compliments will give you a temporary feeling of self-worth, but only through gaining self-esteem will it stay permanent, without someone from outside needed to reinforce it.
he sounds like a real assface. no offense.

You picked the wrong boyfriend. Though, if you just texted and said "Why do you love me?" without any explanation, that would piss anyone off.
well clearly you fish for compliments all the time
