Just because someone gives you uncooked corn doesn't meant they are treating you like a farm animal, in any way. People don't normally give other people COOKED corn. Idiot.

FYL because normally you're a slacker and don't do you work, so bring asked to do this, you didn't see that it's part of your damn job! Be thankful for any reward you get. Your boss gave you fresh corn? That they probably grew themselves? And you think that's an FML? You're not too bright. I just got back from a trip to Ohio. Neighbors bring each other a few ears of fresh corn from the garden -- even corn with worms -- and the recipients are *damn glad* to have it. You don't know a perq when you get it. Ask a few questions -- did the boss grow the corn themselves? Is the person sharing food that they would otherwise put on their own table and serve to their own family? I think you're just not very appreciative.
