I don't think this an FML...organizing or not...here in Michigan, it is not uncommon for someone to say thank you buy giving vegetables...especially around harvest time. In the last month my mom has come home with 4 cucumbers and enough cherry tomatoes to fill a small bowl, and she does a job that's a heck of a lot harder and can be more redundant than filing papers. Sounds like an ungrateful employee, not an FML. An FML would be "Today my boss fired me because she/he wanted the papers filed right to left, and I had filed them left to right."
I'm confused. Btw corn can be eaten raw. I do it all the time during corn season.
LOL. "Some kind of farm animal". Who knows? Maybe that's the way you thank someone greatly where she's from! Accept the corn, go home, cook it, and eat it. Words to live by.
