Today, I confessed to my boyfriend that I have no sex drive, but faked it to avoid hurting his feelings. It was after he confessed he is not attracted to women, but forced himself to have sex with me because he didn't want to admit he is gay. FML

Whelp, looks like both of you not being honest led to something neither of you wanted.

This is why honesty is always the best policy

I misread and though you'd written 'wish him luck as he goes down the rod', not road. Yeah, I'm immature. I'll let myself out

This is why communication and understanding are important.

The Ukraine is extremly anti-gay. Those of you that are posting "honesty is the best policy" need to realize that he could be beaten up or killed for coming out.

This is the perfect friends zone scenario.

Maybe you had no sex drive because some part of you knew he wasnt straight?

Well then why is this on FML? A day later we could see an FML saying, I just learned my girlfriend has no sex drive. I mean it's a neutral situation. "I never told my boyfriend I don't have a sex drive, and he never told me he was gay" like honestly none of you even lost anything in this, if you had no sex drive to begin with and neither did he, or atleast towards you. But hey that's just my opinion

I dunno why #16 got down voted. I agree, op could be demi, tho asexual is probably more likely.

If you both care about each other this could be a win-win if you take sex out of the equation. You both get a caring partner, you don't have to have sex and he gets to "cover up" being gay until he is ready to come out.

Now that you both you know what to do... Its just a simple conversation
