If you took the picture what they did is copyright infringment. It's your money not theirs.

The same thing happened to me, she didnt win however. But she lied and asked for the photo so she could make it her profile picture on facebook... lying poo.

You should watermark your work. And if you did and you can prove that its yours im sure youre entitled to the prize unless they take the money back cause the person stole your work
