Today, my daughter finally walked down the aisle with a man she loves very much. While I was escorting her, I managed to trip and fall down revealing what I've been trying to hide all of this time: my shiny gleaming bald head that showed when my wig fell off. FML

Today, I was the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. I was the first one to walk down the aisle, where I managed to trip over a wire, shutting off the music and falling on my face. My family cheered and took pictures. FML

Today, I was the bridesmaid for my dad and stepmum's wedding. As I was walking down the aisle, I tripped and fell over my high heels, hit my head on the armrest of a wooden chair on the way down, then passed out. I now have a concussion and a broken ankle. The wedding went on without me. FML

Today, at my wedding, when my husband heard, "You may now kiss the bride!" he swung me down romantically and was about to plant one on me when his arm slipped, causing me to fall on the floor hitting my head, and getting a concussion. FML

Today, I was at a baby shower with my wife. I went to go outside for some fresh air, but walked straight into their glass sliding door. Everyone stared at me. I smiled with embarrassment and walked back over to my wife, only to trip over my own feet and faceplant the floor. FML

Today, I got very dressed up and was excited for my uncle's wedding. While standing in line for photos, I heard my dad's voice from behind me say "Who's the hot chick in the brown dress?" My uncle responds "Uh, that's your daughter." Silence. FML

Today, it was my wedding day, and while I was standing next to my husband in front of all of our guests, I was rocking on my heels because I was nervous. I rocked too far and fell backward. My husband didn't come to help me up. He just said at the top of his lungs, "FAIL!" FML

Today, I got married. My dad wanted to see me before the ceremony in my dress. The dress I wore was not my usual kind of dress, strapless. The first thing my dad said, "Ginger! You've got boobs!" Not exactly the father-daughter moment I'd envisioned. FML

Today, I got married wearing a strapless dress. As I walked down the aisle, our wedding photographer stepped out behind me to get a shot of me approaching my husband. Instead of stepping out, though, he stepped on. Stepped on my dress. Pulling it completely down. FML

Heh. Makes me think of the commercial for wigs in Goodfellas "Don't buy wigs that come off at the wrong time. Morrie's Wigs DON'T come off!" "Even underwater! And remember, Morrie's Wigs are tested against hurricane winds." Then he gets beat with a phone receiver by Robert DeNiro, and his wig comes off. Gold.

Could have been worse; could have been your pants that fell off to reveal you were going commando, or that you had skid marks in your undies. I guarantee you, a lot of people already know you wear a toupee. I've never seen a real-looking one. Ever.

I can assure you that everyone already knew. It's a shame you're so ashamed of the way you look. :( Hair loss is really something that mostly just men care about, though. Women rarely mind it. So carpe diem and go bald, man!

Wigs aren't silly; some people, especially cancer patients, don't feel comfortable if they're losing hair. On the other hand, if the baldness comes from natural causes, there's really nothing to feel ashamed of.
