That's more of a win. I'd be laughing at the kid. And the mother for being a two-sided bitch.
I see you're getting a lot of sympathy here, so perhaps I'm just a bitch, but - who cares? It's not like it's your kid, or even a kid you'll see on a regular basis. You might never see the kid again. On the other hand, his mother has to deal with him for the rest of the day, so if she'd just told him "no" herself, she'd have had to listen to him whine about it, possibly for hours - kids can be very determined when they think they've been wronged, especially by a parent! I won't say FYL because although I wouldn't do it myself, I can see why the mother in the situation would have pinned it on you, and I don't think it will affect you much.
well were you out?
what a freaking douche lol
you should have called the boy back and said that you had just found some more in the back and gave him a shit tone just to piss off the mom
Why do you even care it's not like you are going to see those people again?
should have said only if mommy says yes.

you shouldve said "oh actually little kid, I think we might have some right here if ur bitch ass mom will hold on a second."
wow sounds like one of those overbearing mothers that screw up their sons by spoiling them, making it impossible for any woman to be good enough for him when he grows up. a normal mom has the backbone to say no to her child.
