The tourist

Today, I toured an art museum. Our tour guide had an obvious lisp, so I tried my best not to laugh. When she asked me a question about a sculpture, I accidentally replied, "Yeth ma'am." She ended the tour right there. FML

Well, that's what happens when you laugh at people with problems. Are you 10?

And the FML here is that you didn't get to go on the museum tour? You sound like a 6-year-old who didn't get dessert because you misbehaved. Honestly. How is lisping even that amusing in the first place? And even if it is, try to control yourself and be just a little more sensitive to people with problems. She face up to her minor disability every morning because she has the competencies to do the guided tours, and you ridicule her for it. **** HER life, not yours.

A minor speech problem is not a "disability".

No, but that doesn't give inconsiderate fuckwads the right to mock her because of her lisp.

hi five to you. she deserves it for taking a job involving public speaking while having a speech impediment

wtf.. so because of the way she speaks, she doesn't deserve to give people tours? people shouldn't have to live in fear of ridicule, especially not over something they cant control. people should understand that not everyone fits the mould and have some common courtesy toward their fellow man. if they aren't causing any harm, they don't deserve to be put down!

Wow! Way to be an insensitive bastard! :) GOOD for her for taking a position that most people with a speech impediment would be too insecure to take!

she should know/expect that people will make fun of it at times,so why not toughen up & not take it up the butt!..

Wow you're a jerk. How would you feel if you were her? So immature. Grow up YDI

this isnt an fyl its an fhl. imagine how the guide feels, talkin to ppl all day with a lisp and gettin tht kind of crap all day. sorry u missed ur tour, go tomorrow. :P also, erase this fml unless u mean fml cuz u feel guilty... cuz u should.

The chances of getting an actual FML are slim unless someone got in a car crash and had enough time to write an FML . Fml's can refer to "embarrassement" . I would say that it's an FML for both of them. The op for blurting that out and then feeling guilty or embarrassed , the tour guide for getting made fun of for something almost uncontrollable. I don't know , just my opinion . But other then that, I agree with you! :)

OP, You are a cold hearted bitch. You couldn't just let it go and act like a decent human being? Do you laugh and point at deaf people? Do you trip the blind? Go smash your head on a rock.

Wow...but you are taking things a little to the extreme...

Yeah, OP sure is the cold hearted one here...
