Today, when I told a gentleman that, no, he couldn't have cash back on his return without a receipt, he started screaming at me that I was calling his mother a liar. He told me to lawyer up and yelled at me for smiling at him. He also screamed at me to go on a diet as he left the store. FML

Some people are just assholes and invent reasons to cause trouble. I deal with a lot of irritated people at my job and haven't been yelled at yet. I look every single customer straight in the eyes and smile. Most of them look away immediately and then I know I am in charge of that conversation.
