You probably have short hair. In this culture, women are seen as less feminine if their hair isn't long. Sigh.
#28 Yeah, I hate that most people think that short hair = less feminine. I would rather have short hair.
At first, I thought you had a stoic standpoint on the situation. But then I saw that "sigh." and I swear.. I could feel the passion seeping through my screen.
Is someone going around and down-voting all of my comments just to be a jerk? It wouldn't be the first time that happened.
28- I don't see short hair as less feminine, some people (girls and guys) just suit the longer hair, for others, shorter is more flattering. For me, it's not a gender issue, just a person per person basis. 62- Don't worry about the thumbs votes, just share your well thought out opinion, but don't do it looking for approval. You can't please everyone all the time, nor should you try. And if someone actually is looking to down thumb you, getting angry about it will only give them the feedback they crave. Let it go, I'm sure you're better than that. :)
28, It makes sense to have some identifying features given that we have covered all the natural ones. 62, It's more likely that 28 has followers who agree with everything they say regardless of content, and as you don't you only get the brunt of the people who disagree. Not that it matters either way, it only shows popular opinion on this site. As you should be aware by now, the quality of those opinions is shady at best.
It's hard to pull off a shaven head or a boy styled haircut on a female, it just doesn't look right to me, but hey who am I to judge if you want to belch like a man, and wear baggy men's clothing, just don't be surprised when someone confuses your gender. Now this is just all assuming you do those things, but if you don't then.... I bet you make a very handsome man. ;)
Natalie portman is the only woman I've seen look good bald :)
^ In V for Vendetta, I presume? I didn't think Demi Moore looked too bad when she shaved her head in G.I.Jane, IMHO. And I believe I've seen Drew Barrymore sporting a short boy hair cut before that looked decent. All depends on the person. :) Hell, Brad Pitt looks great bald, short or long haired. :p
Well... Mardi Gras is almost here. :) I'll be getting myself lots of beads and hand grenades too. ^_^
Ouch... you could start dressing more femininely, I suppose. Add a few skirts and dresses to your wardrobe. Also you could style your hair differently and put on makeup. Of course, if you're happy with the way you look, that's all that matters, but I'm wondering what you must look like to confuse people with your gender /:
remember to take the strap-on off before going out! :)
I'm in the complete opposite end. My girlfriend gets asked if she's a lesbian. When she tells me this I just laugh and say, well at least if I'm a girl I'm really sexy. I'm an 18 year old dude.
