Today, after a hard day's work and emotional argument with my best friend, I sent my boyfriend a text telling him how much I loved him and cherished him in the hopes he would cheer me up with a romantic reply. He said "Sorry, I've only got 8 texts left." FML

Today, I received a beautiful, heart-felt text from my boyfriend detailing all the ways he loved me. He probably should have emphasized just how big his heart is though because he sent the text to three other women too. Thank you, group messaging. FML

1. He should have called. 2. He shouldn't have wasted one of his nine text messages that he had left to tell you that he "only got 8 texts left". 3. In my opinion, neither "is your life ******", or "did you deserve this".

It's a shame texts are so expensive, they cost the phone companies next to nothing. Save the romantic conversation for next time you can see him in person. It will be more worthwhile.

i think that's really sweet. since he replied with a text, he obviously didn't care about using one up on you---OBVIOUSLY he was saying that he couldn't tell you how TOTALLY and UTTERLY fabulous you are in just 8 texts. Cheer up!

#1 YDI for expecting a "romantic reply" in a TEXT MESSAGE. I don't care how many texts he had left, that's just stupid #2 As other people have said, when you have limited texting, they are indeed like gold. My friend has it and sometimes we just can't keep talking cuz she runs out of texts. But hey, such is life #3 I would also agree that he probably just should have called you, but in his defense, why didn't YOU just call him? another reason YDI. this is hardly a FYL situation. We all have bad days, they are just part of life, and just because your boyfriend can't talk to you one time isn't the end of the world.
