Either way, the guy's an idiot. What he should have done is simple. He should have texted back something romantic to cheer her up, and then said, "By the way, I only have 8 texts left so please don't respond." Or something along those lines. He is a douche.

it's kind of silly that you wrote all of that in a text message... but the fact that all he had to reply to that, was his lack of text messages, which actually rids him of another "precious" text message... well, i find that completely jerk. he should have called you, in that case.

to everyone saying he was worried she'd continue the conversation: he couldn't just say "i love you too, but i'm sorry i have to stop texting"? that's far under 160 characters.

when someone has the chance to be "romantic" and doesn't, that doesn't mean they're a bad person, it just means they're not a "romantic" person. That's just like saying you're a bad person for not giving a poor person money (hypathetically), because u made the choice not to donate money does not make u a bad person, but giving him money would make u a good person. See where i'm going? just because someone has the opportunity to be a good person doesn't mean if they don't take it they're a bad person.

Yeah, I don't see why we needed to hear about this. I get 500 non-Verizon texts a month and when this one girl texts me, she never stops. I had 3000 texts last month. I now owe my mom $250 and I tell her every time she texts to stop because I STILL haven't paid off her last bout of verbal diarrhea. It gets really damn expensive when people don't know how to stop talking
