Today, after breaking up with my boyfriend, some of my friends decided to take me to a comedy club for a girls night. My friend's jealous husband decided he had to come along, then decided to invite my other friends' boyfriends. I ended up being the seventh wheel on a night meant to cheer me up. FML

I hate when friends all invite their boyfriends along even when it's supposed to be a girls-only night...It's like they can't go one night without seeing them. Ridiculous.

your friends should have said their boyfriends couldn't come..if they wanted it to be a girls night out they didn't have to let them come, they should have just explained the situation. They're not very good friends...

Whilst that does suck about being horrendously reminded that you're the only single one and it was that recent. Am I the only one who's worried how controlling the friends 'jealous husband' is that he had to go along on a GIRLS night out? Everyone should just have said no to him anyway. But still, FYL, OP.

Totally agree. It sucks for the OP, but the REAL FML here is the friend with the jealous husband. If he's that jealous that she can't even go out with her girlfriends, believe me, her life is awful. Forever.
