So, you just forgot you're an alcoholic? I really don't get this FML.
Not sure why you were drinking wine in your bathroom, but I guess rehab (in your mind)is for quitters? If you're an alcoholic & it was bad enough that you needed rehab, does it not make sense to stay away from alcohol all together? I gave you a YDI because of that fact.
Staying away from alcohol can probably be quite difficult for recovering alcoholics. Addiction is a powerful thing.
tomorrows another day. hang in there op. addictions a bitch and youre not alone *hug*
One day at a time! Wish you all the best. To everyone who thinks that having two glasses is no problem at all: for alcoholics, that can be a serious problem. And abstainance is a lot easier than moderation.
Did nobody catch the fact that the OP was drinking in the bathroom (walked out of bathroom after drinking second glass of wine)? Drinking alone, and hiding it from others, are two huge red flags, especially for someone who's already been in rehab. OP, please seek help before the drinking escalates further.
1. OP doesn't state whether rehab visit was due to alcohol or not. Therefore, we can NOT conclude whether alcohol was their issue or not.
Addiction doesn't always involve one substance, quite often addicts can "relapse" with something else. Though that's not always the case; it's an unfortunate cycle none the less.
Stay strong OP
Yeah, WTF? Go to rehab, get a hair dryer? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal,......but....... Think I'll just keep drinking.

Forgive my stupidity, but I have no idea what "the tag on my hair dryer from last year's rehab visit" actually means. None of the meanings for the word "tag" that I know of make any sense in context, and I can't figure out what the hair dryer and rehab have to do with each other. Any extremely charitable person willing to explain what's going on?
Although two glasses of wine is not bad, if you have had problems with alcohol before, this (relapse?) could lead you down a slippery slope.
