Sorry OP I don't think he even thought about your gift. He most likely grabed some toliet paper from the supply cupboard and some noodles from the kitchen, wrapped them up and BOB's YOUR UNCLE!

Wow that is overly harsh. The Ops husband should have done something nice for her. It seems like he forgot, panicked and grabbed whatever he could around the house. While what he did was bad, and obviously hurt the OP, you can't lump all men in with the him. There are lots of amazing men out there, clearly you need to go find one so you can learn that they aren't all terrible.
