Today, after recently having had surgery, I Iearnt that some extra tissue was needed to cover up the hole in the roof of my mouth. Where did they get this tissue? From a dead person. I now have the flesh of a dead person in my mouth, which by the way is now infected. FML

Op do you think its an fml because dead skin was used or because it got infected. I would say that the infection is an fml but the dead skin isnt because they wouldn't randomly skin someones arm to fill a hole in someone else. They kind of have to be dead but if its any reasurance its no different to recieving an organ. It just seems a bit more icky cause its in your mouth.

Well it was either going to come from you, a cadaver, or through cloning techniques that use stem cells in order to "regrow" tissue. Most people are opposed to cloning and most cloning techniques are illegal in the U.S. so you either had choice A or Choice B to go with from the start. So what,You ended up Cadaver tissue, You should be at least somewhat thankful that you had the opportunity because most people who need transplants of any kind do not always get them..... and the bonus is that at least you didn't end up with a doctor that wanted to take tissue from your butt ;) now that's just unsanitary

Now that you are used to having dead flesh in your mouth, maybe you can get that job as a masseuse in the nursing home. You can make sure the old dudes get "happy endings" in exchange for minor changes in their wills.
