Today, after saving up for weeks, I bought myself an iPad. Because mine is better than the one my parents bought my ten-year-old brother, he got pissed and threw it into our pool. I'm now grounded for getting angry and calling him a bastard in the aftermath. FML

Today, my dad borrowed my new iPad to amuse him while he was in the shower without my knowledge. The iPad is now completely ruined, and my dad is refusing to buy me a new one. He says, "How was I to know that it wasn't waterproof?" FML

Today, while mopping the kitchen, I ended up slipping and and knocked over the table that had my mom’s iPad on it. The screen shattered; I sprained my wrist. I asked my mom to take me to the ER. She called me "selfish" because her iPad screen repair would "cost more." FML

So, saving for "weeks" for the new iPad, a younger brother having one and a pool in the house. I'll safely assume you're part of the priviledged few and your brother a spoiled little brat (probably you, too, but I'll let that slip). Totally YDI. If you kept your restrain, the grounded one would be your brother, and maybe you could have gotten a new New iPad as a compensation. Or your brother's one, at the very least.
