Today, after six months of dating, my girlfriend decided to break up with me because my "obsession" of being on the computer and playing games all the time was cutting into "our time". She then told me to "get a life" and never wanted to see me again. She told me all of this on WoW. FML

YDI... She probably had to do it over the computer because it was the easiest way to get ahold of you :P

That sucks! She should play WoW too and it would be perfect! The guy i use to date would play WoW with me all the time. We still do! haha.

First of all can SOMEONE please tell me what "WoW" is???? Second of all it is really anoying when your bf plays so many video games that he ignores you, however I don't mind having a bf who plays them. As long as there is a balance of time spent 2gether.

wow=world of warcraft. I'm guessing the OP has multiple 80's and raids alot, whereas the girlfriend plays too but more casual and is still leveling. i.e. she's prolly a lvl 36 blood elf paladin questing alone and never really interacting with the boyfriend. Just a guess though

its sucks for you but its pretty funny :P

y do people tht play wow think they are sociable? and think tht because they happened to speak to a female playing it, tht they all of a sudden have a relationship? it doesn't work like tht! people tht play wow are the gimps in skool tht get bullied repeatedly and are to ugly to get a relationship.

That's what you get for playing a twelve year old's game.

Maybe...just maybe she said it on WoW because she knew it would be the only place she could reach you, since you spend so much time on it that it cuts into your relationship...chew on that for a while.

WoW is not a twelve year olds game first of all, it requires a bit more brain work then you think to play well ... Second, I have a GF who loves me. I play wow roughly 40 hours a week (Its my job, I play professionally). I have a social life that works fine. I play basketball, go to the clubs, go to college, and work 10 hours a week at a hobby store for a little extra cash. I manage to fit it all in and STILL spend time with my GF that doesn't even live with me. So everyone that's bashing on it, GTFO.

No, I'm a geek, there's a difference. And this "nerd" is more than likely at a higher education level then you and makes more money.
