UGH same with me. My parents are so overprotective and not letting me date. I'm almost 18, and off to university soon. They said that i'm not allowed to date in uni either... I have though and it sucks that I have to keep it a secret.
why are there more ydi? if op doesn't have her own cellphone, than obviously her parents are those overly strict types and she's probably at a reasonable age to date, they just don't allow it.
Nnnooooo that's so sad |:(
I don't get all the YDI votes. Not being allowed yo at is incredibly old fashioned. plus, you kljut KNOW it's gonna happen anyway. Better to be open about it so you know what your kid I up to instead of maintain then do it in secret. Also, breaking up like that makes him an ass.
i hope they were understanding and not mean bout it. either way u dont have s bf now.
Parents who "forbid" shit like this are lazy and pathetic. They don't want to deal with educating their children. "Don't do this." "Why?" "Because I said so." "Sure thing, mom/dad! I'm not curious at all. Not in any way, shape, or form."

well if hes going to break up with you over a voicemail, he isnt worth it anyway.
Your parents will never know if you have an imaginary boyfriend. They're not as troublesome as real ones, although the sex is not all that great.
