Today, all of my friends bailed from the birthday party I was throwing myself. This was also after they had encouraged me for months to have one, knowing I'd never had my birthday celebrated before. FML

Aw, OP! Please don't cry! Their pathetic actions aren't worth your tears. Those aren't real friends, and karma will get them one day. You don't need them in your life. Much better friends are out there waiting for you to meet them. Keep your chin up, smile, remember you're beautiful inside and out and try to make the best out of the day. Wow, that's horrible. Unless they all had an emergency, like a family member was severely hurt or sick or their boss insisted they covered a shift at the last minute that was during your party then they are crappy friends. If that was the case, they should've at least let you know so you could reschedule and know that it isn't because of you. It also might be a good idea to make sure you didn't give accidentally everyone the wrong date, time and/or location for the party. Happy Birthday anyway, OP.

my friends did that too I didn't want to have a bday party because everytime I have one no one shows up... so they talked me into having one and only like 2 people out of the 15 who talked me into it showed up...

Today was my 18th birthday. I practically had to beg my friends to hang out with me, and even then only a couple did. I know how you feel OP. I've never had a birthday party before so this was the closest I've ever gotten.
