I feel you op i have shitty friends that dont care about anything but themselves, they tell me to hang out with them and everytime i ask they are suddenly busy.... but hey better you know that they are bitches so u expect nothing from them next time

Something similar happened to me a few years ago. They hyped up over the arrangement (and honestly, got me more excited). My family made plans, which I later told them, and they said they were 'already doing stuff'. And I did find out later that they only paid me a visit because there was free food. At the time I actually remember begging them. Like everyone else said, OP, it's time to get new friends. Don't ever be a second option to others. I do hope soon you find friends who treat you right. But they have taught you a valuable lesson - how NOT to be a friend.

So I'm not he only one! They are idiots and do not appreciate you. Don't take it personally as a reflection on yourself, rather, a reflection on how idiotic and horrible 'friends' they are. Or rather, people in general. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to make true friends.
