Today, as a joke, my friends and I decided to put me in a dress and makeup, to creep out a friend. I'm a guy. I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that I so willingly volunteered to wear the dress and the makeup, or the fact that I thought it was comfy and made me look slim. FML

i never understood why girls could wear guys' clothes but guys couldn't wear girls' clothes

I once had to cross dress as part of a play. I felt so comfy in the dress. XD Most guys just won't understand.

Maybe it WAS comfy an it DID make you look slim. Boy or girl, isn't that what everyone should think about clothes. The fact that you thought so about a dress is a bit odd, but fine.

I think that's incredibly gay... but hey, to each his own. whatever floats your boat.

How is it gay? I don't understand this. Just cos someone likes "girly" things doesn't mean they don't like girls.

it's gay, Apocalyptus, because guys wear guy's clothes. anything else is, by popular belief, considered gay.

No, asshole, a guy wearing women's clothes is not gay. A guy having sex with another guy is gay. And who cares if he wants to wear women's clothes anyway? He's not hurting anyone.

You know at one point, the earth by popular belief was considered flat. Doesn't make it true.

If you think wearing girls clothes makes you gay you might as well believe in witchcraft, ghosts, and crystal balls. bullshit, all of it

Hey, the Scots wear kilts. They look very comfy...

Speaking as a Scottish girl - Kilts are awesome, even though seeing one outside of a special occasion is a rare thing. The reason that women can wear guys clothing and not vice versa is that girls are both: a) More confident and secure about their sexuality b) More likely to put practicality above pride and tradition (Women first started wearing trousers - at least in Britian - during the second world war. They began to work in factories because the men were all at war and found it more practical to just wear trousers) Also, usually when men act homophobic and/or look at situations like the above and assume the OP is gay, its because they themselves are repressed homosexuals.

haha, time to do a little soul searching

when i put on a pair of old jeans and an oversized jersey on, i think it's comfy and it makes me look slim - but no one calls me a gay because i'm a girl who wears dresses and skirts as well. these comments disgust me. some people really need to realise this is the 21st century, and people crossdress. get over it.

People invented clothes, so why should we put silly rules on them? I love dresses AND pants, and I'm a guy. There's nothing wrong with that. Something else that confuses me: Girls are "girly" and straight guys like girls, therefore straight guys like "girly" things. Straight guys say I'm automatically gay because I like flowers, and flowers are "girly" things. WTF?

wow... come out of the closet already

i get called a lesbian because i'm a sports/car fanatic, i love guys hoodies, and i find boxers more comfortable than thongs.
