Today, as I was waiting for my girlfriend in the street, I saw a woman who looked a lot like her. I ran towards her, my arms in the air ready to give her a hug, only to realise it wasn't her. I then had to pass the woman, my arms in the air, still running. FML

Haha!!! I wish I could've seen that. Don't worry bro. I'm sure you looked like a jack ass, but we all make dumb mistakes like that at some point. The important part is that you can laugh at yourself later for it. Tell your gf, I bet she'll think it's hilarious and maybe kinda cute. Lol. By the way, quick thinking when it comes to the whole running past her thing.

My boyfriend experienced something similar to this when my sister in law borrowed my tshirt. He grabbed her from behind; it wasn't till he realized he had way more in his hands than he should that it wasn't me! Poor guy was so embarrassed. We all laughed it off.
