Today, as I was working at my babysitting job, I was watching a 3.5 year old girl. She begged and begged me to come in the jacuzzi with her, and when I put on my 2-piece bathing suit on, the young girl asked me why my stomach looked like a bagel. I looked down just to realize she was right. FML

Should a child that young even be in a hot tub?

and the the OP turned around to get out of the jacuzzi and the girl asked why her butt looked like a sack of dirty nickels.

3.5 years old? Have we stopped using the month system these days? Can someone please alert me when things like this happen? Thanks...

Do you usually say someone is "three years and six months old" rather than "three and a half years old"? 3.5 is just a shorter way of saying three and a half, which makes sense when you are character-limited like you are in an FML... unless of course you missed the day in elementary school when we learned about those tricky decimals and can't figure it out.

I suppose you're right about the character limitation, but I've never seen it written down like that. And don't worry about my decimals, I practically taught Dewey everything he knew ;)

Your perception is remarkable, #17. I'm amazed at the way you were able to tell that from our comments. And #19, nice reference :). Want to bet a fair number of the 12-year-olds on here have no idea who you're talking about?

Want to bet there are plenty of people who do, and despise you for trying to randomly turn it into a bash at other readers? And no, I'm not 12.

Actually, it was intended much more in the vein of "I feel old lately and it's crazy how much has changed since I was in school" than as a bash at other readers - but feel free to get offended about it if you want.

#20, how dare you! Kids no Dewey Decimal! Dewey Decimal couldn't tell a lie and spread appleseeds all over the Midwest. In olde age he lived in a librarry and freeed the slaves. Don't tell me I'm stoopid, jerk!

I like a little pudgieness on a girl lol I think it's kinda cute

That might just mean that you'd look better in something other than a two-piece, OP. Also, aside from simply being human, the state of your body is only what you make of it, so YDI.

So sick of seeing this question on a lot of these fmls. learn to look it up yourself. Don't expect others to do all the work for you. You can easily google it and find it very easily, quicker in fact than ASKING someone on here! Stop being a lazy ass and learn to figure things out for yourself. And everyone needs to quit answering them when they ask it, just make them look up what things like ydi and op mean.

a simple no could of done it lol thank you #66 that's all I wanted to know

viper63 0

aw I bet you feel good about yourself huh it's good that there's people like you haha o and another question what's STFU stand for haha

fyl? ydi nobody told you to shove big macs in your face. go on a ******* treadmill if you don't like being the Pillsbury doughboy.

that's really rude. it could be genetic or something.

Even with genetics, there's a thing called exercise and eating healthy. Genetics isn't an excuse to be fat

Sometimes it is, there are some people that no matter how much they exercise or diet they will always look a little on the heavier side.

Fail OP, kids under 12 aren't supposed to be in hot tubs

riku3220 2

Obviously since she wanted the OP to come in with her she already knows how to turn it on and has more than likely been in it with her parents. Children under 12 shouldn't be in a jacuzzi without ADULT SUPERVISION.

It's not adult supervision that's the issue. Of course they need to be supervised, but children that young aren't supposed to use hot tubs because they will get hyperthermic, lightheaded, dizzy, etc. much faster than an adult would. I work seasonally at an indoor water park and we have to tell parents this all the time. You wouldn't believe how many parents think it is their God given right to have their kids in the hot tub, and how *their* kids should be an exception to our rules...

I used to lifeguard and you have no many times how many times I would have to yell at kids to get away from the hot tub. It's so annoying!! Im like honestly can't you just listen? I don't care what your mama said!
