You could let your left side grow out then shave everything on your right side of your head. Leaving hair on your left side only, then invest in some rogain.

Did you try sleeping on the other side. I know blood flow affects hair growth in some cases.

thats actually a nerve problem. I have relatively close to the same thing, my left side of my face grows hair fast while the other side takes extremley long to grow hair.
