I'm all for protecting women against being bullied by their partners, but it WAS a debate i.e. two sides to the arguement. Now, what if you walked in on your partner (male or female) and found them getting pleasured by a woman. How would you feel towards the woman then? Would she be forgiven by you, or be attacked? Or what if some drugged up female came at you with a knife. You WILL fight back in defence, believe me.

I can't see how that's a fair topic, surly ones moral or ethical standards would conflict with actually coming up with an adequate response to that argument

that's insane! Im also in debate and sometimes things like that just slip out. the opponents during the final round of our state debate basically yelled out during crossfire "Julian Assange is an Austrailian AND and rapist!"
