Today, at my wedding, my husband's drunk friend admitted that the only reason my husband and I started dating was because he was dared. FML

That's really messed up. But obviously he liked you enough to stay and marry you. :D so no worries op.

Some relationships start out that way. You shouldn't focus on the negative though; you're obviously still together and he loves you, so that's got to count for something, right? Anyway, congratulations :)

Yeah but then again you should be happy he's your husband now no matter how you guys started out

That's not one thing you would like to hear at a wedding

Me and my friends dare each other to talk to girls all the time it's away of getting over the fear of getting rejected. You're looking at this totally wrong it's actually a compliment he wanted to talk to you but was intimidated.

he went as far as to marry you? what exactly was the dare?

I bet you that at the podium, your husband was thinking "best dare ever" :)

Past is past, now he loves you Live happily ever after.

Maybe he already had his eye on you and just needed the gentle push of a dare to get the ball rolling, or perhaps he was dared to say hello to the hottest lady in the room, which he decided was you and from the first word he was gaga over you. Why is everyone so woes me?

so he was dared, it's not like he was dared to marry you, he had to make that choice himself
