If you are sharp in those moments, you can get a raise: just go help the manager and side with anything he says. It worked twice for me.
Anger never comes out of nowhere. The manager probably had a good reason for his actions.
why would ladies not have the right to be respected managers just like men? You are from the dark ages dude...
If you don't like your situation, try become a manager yourself. He worked hard to get there, he deserves the benefits of his position. He earned it.
It's very hard being in charge of a group of employees. You must keep them scared of you while you dodge the legal issues they try to throw at you because they are jealous of you being the manager.
I agree. Everyone tries to make the managers look like the bad guys. If they don't like their job, maybe a communist country would be better for them?
I'm a restaurant manager, and I'd fire any of my employees on the spot if they ever threw anything at a co-worker. And my bosses would do the same to me. Because honestly, if I were eating at a restaurant and saw a manager pitch a laptop or a glass or anything else at an employee, I'd never eat there again. It's about professionality. Being a manager entails behaving like an adult, not a four-year-old throwing a tantrum.
what about getting 3 members of your family raped?
Find a new job. It's only a matter of time until this happens to you. But beforehand, report what you saw to HR and convince your coworker to do the same. Good luck OP
Don't do that! That's probably why your ex-coworker got in trouble in the first place. Love and respect your elders.
Get out while you can!!!!

Good luck Op!!!
That sounds like an episode of the Office. I can totally see Michael Scott doing that to somebody...
