Today, at the age of 27, I learnt that your tonsils aren't the dangly bit at the back of your throat. I work in healthcare. FML

Didn't you ever see Monster House? That's totally where I learned about the uvula from!

This is why they call what doctors do, "practice".

been there. I could only tell the difference when I was 19......

That 'dangly bit' is called the uvula.

Sounds more like an fml for everyone under your care.

I hope that caused any serious damage; where health is concerned small mistakes can be fatal. I question how much you paid attention in school, because they teach this in elementary/primary school

being the "sanitation manager" at a hospital doesn't exactly mean you work in healthcare. just kiddinggggg

Please don't work in healthcare any longer also don't learn anything else from whoever taught you that "the dangling thingy in the back of the throat is the tonsils"

I'm also surprised you haven't LEARNED how to spell

I'm thinking maybe you shouldn't work in Healthcare??? ydi
