wow people are stupid.. the BUTTON is placed somewhere so incase they get robbed they can hit it from the normal place they stand..they get hit all the time. and in ref to the 911 calls if they didnt come and some one was really in trouble .. the cops would be liable. When ever some one is breaking into a house and the person who is in trouble calls 911 do you think the subjects are gonna answer the phone to 911 and be like yeah im robbing /raping/ and killing them right now.. hurry on and get over here before its too late. ? no.. they say everything is fine because they dont want leo to come.
I've done something like that before. did you notice how long it took them to get there? maybe that'll come in handy when you're robbed.
I would have a shitfit at my manager for not explaining proper procedure. What if you were really being robbed? I hope the store had to pay out the wazoo for the response to the false alarm.
I would die if this happened to me! But it's true, I work at a petrol station and my first day I was told about the hold-up button, it's the first thing I was told
wow

haha that reminds me of when I accidentally called 911 when I was 7, and quickly hung up. the dispatcher called back, asked if I was ok and no matter how much I tried to explain it was a mistake, she said "sweetie there's an officer on the way to you. only open the door to a police officer in uniform..." like I was some helpless little girl. lol
Lol something similar happened to my boyfriends aunt at her work. Only she didn't know what the button was for and no one answered her when she asked so she pushed it and got a call then realized the place was surrounded
