Today, at work, I had to tell a woman that there is no such thing as a "pedigree Beahuahuadoodle", and that she'd essentially paid $500 for a mutt. FML

hahaha that's funny. I have a chiweenie and feel like a douche every time I have to say it.

What kind of mix is that? I got the chihuahua but not the last part.

Dauschund. Hope I spelled that right. I used to live by someone with a chiweenie. He was an adorable little asshole.

Ahh my bad, that makes sense of course. I guess I was thinking the "weenie" part was a mix of the breed name not the slang term.

I'd tell you about my cross between a English Pointer, and a Alaskan Malamute, but it would be a Mute Pointer.

every "purebred" breed was once just a mutt someone found intriguing and bred it.

That's a tongue-twister. I couldn't even pronounce that and it came out all jibberishy. More reason why most names are ridiculous

When you think of it mostly all dogs are mutts because long ago breeders would mix dog breeds in order to get more of the dna of something. Most cases would be for hunting dogs or guard dogs. The german shepherd is not a pure bred dog. However, we now consider it a pure bred

How does that suck for you? It's her problem.

That's a steal in Vancouver BC. A mutt is $800 and a purebred $1200, registered are around $2000. Breeders rational? The dogs are "simply city priced"
