You are in the right. A tragedy is no excuse to inconvenience other people. Keep your bad luck to yourselves
**** 'em. Death isn't an excuse to be a dick and block someone's drive way.
this is definitely not a YDI. first of all, if they've done it a few times now, how were you supposed to know it was an exception? it's not like it was the very first time they blocked you and you were just being a jackass. second of all, like others have said, just because someone passes away, if you're stable enough to drive you're stable enough to park properly and not block people's driveways.
It sucks... but blocking driveways is illegal! Even people in mourning need to follow the law!
I would have broken a window so don't feel bad.
Just tow them in future.
I don't get how this is an FML... How were you supposed to know? They don't need to be blocking your driveway and that's that. I'd have called a tow-truck AND put the note on there... It sucks that their nephew passed away, but I still don't get how that justifies blocking your drive way for the 5th time.
Who the hell cares what the reason is. They shouldn't park like assholes. My neighbors and their friends and the stupid propane truck do this to me all the time and make me late for work and classes. Death isn't an excuse to block someone's driveway, especially if they have a habit of doing it.
I'm still with you, the dude's an asshole.

That really sucks. However, they really still shouldn't have blocked your drive way. They should've been the one to park in the street or something. Alas, a politer note would probably have conveyed that better.
That is an immature way to respond. However, that is annoying and illegal on their part. A nicer note might have been a better solution, but I understand how frustrating that can be.
