Today, for my birthday, my mom presented me with a $4,000 check to pay for my braces. I've been very self-conscious about my teeth for years. Everyone applauded and told me how happy they were for me. Later, my mom asked me for the check back. Apparently it was just meant to make her look good. FML

I say cash/deposit it if you can and tell her she can't have the money back. If she wrote it out you you, and it was a valid check, it's your money now. If you can't do that, tell EVERYONE who she wanted to "look good" in front of what she really did. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll help pay for braces since your mom is such a bitch.

When you are older and successful, and your mom is a struggling old hag, tell her that you'll take care of her every need. Pay for everything for a while, at least two years. Convey the message that you don't care about the past, earn her trust. Convince her to not work or save, that you will take care of her. Then, gradually stop paying her bills. Stop buying her groceries. After a while, abruptly drop out of her life completely. Come back into her life as abruptly as you had left and dump her in a very crappy nursing home (or on the streets, whichever you prefer). Sit back. You'll have the last laugh.

screwtaylor is right, they are trolls who do stupid things for attention, such as giving out YDIs for no reason. Whatever you do, never feed them. (aka- don't reply to them) Ignore them, and give them a thumbs down. Hopefully they'll get their comments buried.

Very true, I like reading buried comments just to see if the trolls have gotten a little more original (and I'm constantly disappointed. Why can't we have funny trolls?) but still, it gets the point across that the buried comment is a stupid one and not to be taken seriously.
