Doesn't matter. The rain will not affect it. Now, if there had been shampoo in the rain water, that's another story. Water on it's own is fine.
Here's a few points I must make: 1. Wavy perms are totally coming bak in style. Poodle perms are stuck in the 80's. 2. Getting a brand new perm wet with water is A-OK. You can shower the day of as long as you don't use shampoo or conditioners (chemicals in those mess up the chemicals in the perm solution). Swimming is also ok as long as the water isn't chlorinated. ~Sorry about this long comment but it was bugging me! ~I know all this cause I got a wavy perm two weeks ago and my hairdresser even wet it! It's still going strong!
ydi for getting a perm
what exactly is 6 hours of rain? how does a unit of time explain a unit of space?
ydi for getting a perm. ok, that was mean, and i was just joking......but seriously
The universe telling you what it thinks about your perm

You're not supposed to shower right after a perm. :( that sucks!
no, with perms, you can't get it wet for at least 24 hours else it will fall.
