Today, I, a vampire-pale girl, went on a blind date with a very dark-skinned young man. We got on like a house on fire, and everything was going smoothly until we leant in for the kiss. I was wearing makeup and no setting spray. He came away with half his face smudged snow white. FML

This may be a sign of too much makeup.

For people wonder: OP is fair skinned (or maybe a vampire goth?) and wears pure white foundation. When they kissed, her foundation came off on his face, which since he was darker skinned cause it to be very obvious and jarring.

If things went as well as you said that could be a cute story to tell down the line ♡

Hairspray isn't good for your skin, but if you want your makeup not to budge, I recommend starting and finishing with it. Glad y'all hit it off :)

Why so many negative comments? I was just telling her how to make it so her makeup WILL NOT MOVE. If she cares that it smudges, hairspray will make it not smudge. My friends and I used hairspray all throughout high school so we looked as good leaving as we did when we got there.

If I were him, I wouldn't care about the makeup.

This happens to me a lot because I wear the lightest shade of foundation.. It's embarrassing but my husband is used to it

That sounds cute you should be embarrassed about that. I actually like it when my girlfriend's lipstick smears on me when she kisses me.

That sounds like something to laugh about in the future to me

Are you sure that's the only thing that rubbed off? Once you go black ...
