Today, I, a vampire-pale girl, went on a blind date with a very dark-skinned young man. We got on like a house on fire, and everything was going smoothly until we leant in for the kiss. I was wearing makeup and no setting spray. He came away with half his face smudged snow white. FML

This may be a sign of too much makeup.

For people wonder: OP is fair skinned (or maybe a vampire goth?) and wears pure white foundation. When they kissed, her foundation came off on his face, which since he was darker skinned cause it to be very obvious and jarring.

You went on a great date where you liked the person enough to kiss them and you want to find a petty reason to complain about it? He probably doesn't care and this isn't a genuine problem- get over it.

Since when does kissing require one to press their entire face against their partner..?

I've never once used setting spray and this has never happened to me. How do you kiss that this happens?

What the hell is setting spray? I've only been wearing make up 20+ years and have yet to "spray" anything.

Honestly the sound adorably goofy. So long as he didn't freak out or something I'd say all is well love!

That'll be a funny story to tell the kids one day.

If he doesn't mind I don't see the issue.

Ma'am you have a face on your makeup.

for people who say that she might be wearing too much makeup, she's not. she just needs to set her foundation with a little powder and it should be fine
