They have a deleted section in most emails that you can read in case things like this happen

Just move them out of the trash folder, and why do you need all your emails from the last three years, if they were important you would have already used them or just put them somewhere where you could access them easily and therefore have had no need for them now, that goes for the more recent ones as well as the older ones, anyway why should we care that you don't know anything about computers to the extent that you don't understand the concept of the trash section of email?
