40, the Internet is available in many ways nowadays. There's phone Internet, USB internet cards, could be a relative's Internet, may have paid a few dollars to use a cafe Internet or something, but what I'm trying to get at is it doesn't necessarily mean that OP's paying shitloads on the net.

Op why'd you apply there if your just going to make an Fml about it? Sorry but I think thatsss pretty pointless. I'm sure if they are renting it out or have applications avail to move in, it's not a piece of shit. It's probably really cool inside. When my mom was in college she rented a room in a barn (fixed up nicely). She loved it and often tells stories about the people she met, etc.
