lmfao damn but at least you were nice about it
aw that us so sweet that proudly made her day
He said it was 'beautiful' jeez can't take a compliment?
right?
You meant well. I'd feel better if I were her, she now knows she sounds okay. I've heard recordings of my own voice. I sound like I'm just waking up from general anesthesia.
Since it was so recent, I guess she was a little self conscious and not sure if you were joking or being sarcastic. I'm sure she wasn't offended.
yeah i agree.
Since it was recent she might still be self conscious about it.
I honestly don't really see what's so bad about this. I mean I'd be flattered, he/she called her "accent" beautiful. He/She had no way of knowing she had a stroke. Good for him/her for being polite.

at least you didn't make fun of it. if anything, i hope she would feel better since you called her speech beautiful. i mean i know it's still awful, but it's a little better
That does suck, but the way this is worded implies that the woman is a stranger. How were you to know she had a stroke? I don't think it's an FML or a YDI. Just kind of embarrassing.
