Today, I asked my dad to pick me up from school, he said he couldn't. Why? he was busy playing world of warcraft for the night. I got to walk the 3 hours home while my 49 year old dad played computer games. FML

foreal this is EXACTLY like my dad. His world revolved around that game for years till we made him go get a damn job.

my dad does the same exact thing that game is ridiculous

Honey, have your dad pay for a cab, unplug the computer, hide the peripherals. When he gets pissed, tell him you'll call CPS for negligence. WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER IN ALL THIS?

haha. thats funny. and that sucks too. i thought it was funnier bc there was a world of warcraft ad on the top of this page when i first read this. haha. sry! :/

No kidding. Sounds like my dad.

I play WoW, But so does both my parents. When they play WoW, and that's everyday, There is a guarantee 4-7 hour ratio that I can't talk to, or get anything from them. most of the nights I cook for myself.

when my dad was obsessed with it (and note he had no job so this was all he did besides sleeping) i pretty much ran the household. I had to take care of him and my older and younger siblings, cook, do laundry, and try and keep the house clean at age of 13. i would literally bring my dad's plate to him as he sat in the computer room playing it, i would bring him his napkin, silverware, drink, etc. because he was 'busy'. let me tell you, all of it was stressful and very hard. it really isnt fare for a parent to force that sort of responsibility on to a kid.
