for all the folks on here talking about its not a big deal, grow up blah blah blah, just cause its not a big deal for you dose'nt mean it generally is,people are different,so freaken understand tht, oviously OP finds it hurtful that their own parent dose'nt remember his/her birthday,to some people the day they were born is pretty important to them, and it would be nice if they're own parents could aknowledge that.
There's a difference between changing what day they celebrate it on and forgetting completely.
get friends & then you won't care.
BFD! Get over yourself. It's just another day.
It's a birth anniversary, not a birthday. Judging by your whining and neediness, your birthday happened 16-22 years ago. Get over yourself
What a selfish brat. Do you need to have mommy and daddy hold your hand as you go to the pisser too? They obviously were looking forward to a concert that probably DOESN'T happen annually like your birthday, get over it, party with friends, get the **** out of your ass.
Get over urself. Concert dates are usually set, the world doesn't stop revolving because it's ur birthday. They can celebrate your day before or after.

I don't see the issue. The concerts are only on specific days, if it was something they really wanted to see, Friday would be the only day they could go. Why can't his parents go to the concert and celebrate OPs birthday all day on the Saturday? If this was me in this situation I'd let them go to their concert and just suggest we go out for dinner the next day or any time that weekend to celebrate my birthday. And not bitch about it on FML. OP, get over it.
really? I wouldn't have guessed...
