Today, I asked my girlfriend to marry me. She said no because she doesn't want to be tied down for the rest of her life. We already have 3 children, a mortgage, and joint bank accounts. How much more tied down could we possibly get? FML

Just curious but if you already have 3 kids, a house and a joint bank account then why didn't you pop the question earlier? Idk like at least after kid 2 or after you got a house together or somethin....Maybe she didn't appreciate you waiting so long and now she doesn't want to
